The Case for Computers Driving Cars

The case for computer driven cars takes on many facets including both the financial and lifesaving benefits. Other concerns also come up such as privacy, crime, ethics, and jobs. Understanding the acceleration of technological change, we can assume this change to automated driver will begin this decade. With the first self autonomous vehicle emerging in 2005, the days of wheel and peddle based human driving are coming to an end. Here I try and delve a little bit into both the ethical implications of machine driven cars as well as the complete transformation in personal transportation we are likely to experience when it happens.
